Barrier protester killed
(JTA) -- Israeli troops killed a Palestinian during a riot at the West Bank separation barrier.
Hospital officials and protest organizers said Bassem Abu Rahmeh, 31, died Friday after being hit in the chest by a tear gas canister in Bil'in, a West Bank village sliced in two by the barrier.
Troops were using tear gas and stun grenades to quell stone-throwing.
