I researched to find out why it is that songs about the Irish flag refer to it's colors as 'Green and Gold'.

I thought perhaps it was some allegorical item.

Perhaps a metaphor?

Nah, it's worse. It's the Irish problem in a nutshell. Great talent, no foresight.

Best rhymers on the planet, and they picked a set of colors for their flag that used the word 'orange'.

Fate is cruel.
