Weird, Intriguing, Partially Perturbing

Out of the blue (while I was researching Katlyn Long, actually) I got a call from the Waste Isolation Pilot Project (WIPP) in Carlsbad, NM, who wanted me to re-submit my resume.

They had the application from somebody at Sandia Labs, I think.  It had a 505 phone for me (they had to search my jobhunt domain for it).

I'd forgotten about them, actually.  We tried really hard to keep them from opening.  We failed.  I hadn't really realized that it was that long ago. 

God knows why they'd want me for their lead tech.

Still, it was worth it to see that in spite of the statements to the contrary, it's not some kind of superfund site already:
