Most Christians are sure which day Jesus died. For them, I submit John 19:14:
14Now it was (S)the day of preparation for the Passover; it was about the [b](T)sixth hour And he said to the Jews, "Behold, (U)your King!"
I'd tend to think that (the "Day of Preparation for the Passover") would be 'Good Thursday' rather than 'Friday', no?
It makes sense then why he was in the tomb for three days, since they couldn't touch a dead body on Passover, or on Sabbath, and had to wait.
Not only that, but if it really *was* Friday, then what were *Jews* doing away from their houses? They aren't supposed to be off galavanting about on Sabbath. It's supposed to be a 'no-work' day.
I can't believe in two thousand years nobody had noticed this obvious discrepancy before.
They likely all burned previously.
