I am writing you on the anniversary of the WTC attack to express my concern about the coup in Honduras and the IMF response to it.
Since June 28 the people of Honduras have responded to the coup d' état with peaceful protests only to have been met with violent repression on the part of the coup government.
I urge you to issue a public press announcement clearly stating that the IMF "Will not make any funds available to the coup regime of Honduras, including Special Drawing Rights."
If you would like to offer funds to the legitimate government in order to help re-establishment of law in Honduras, I would support that.
