The Ouique, Vol 1, #9

Greg Palast sent a great article on the "Jew World Order". It was pretty funny. Apparently, quite a number of members of the Bush administration are Jewish. This article shows pretty conclusively that if there is any kind of "Jewish Conspiracy" (to do anything, really, past perhaps organizing a bris) it functions on the level of the Keystone Cops.

On that note, did you hear about the Mohel with the tip jar?

So I was looking for a word on the internet for the evil memes that float about in emails. I know I heard one, but I can't remember it. A word like 'phishing', but specifically for email with no point other than to propagate (my favorite is the 'Goodtimes Virus'). I actually remembered it while writing this, and it wasn't a word, but a phrase, and really, it is just a synonym for meme, "wetware virus".

So I ran across a new word this week (in looking for that phrase), "animutation". In a nutshell, it is the descriptive term for items such as the Jib-Jab (http://jibjab.com/) folks and many of the Flash animators who hack up photos of people's faces and make them sing and dance. If you want to know about it in depth, go to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animutations

Classic animutations usually don't accompany a real song (at least, not a real English song). They tend to have foreign songs as their background, and mondagreen lyrics as captions. The net result is high silliness on the order of Monty Python. Terry Gilliam is credited as a parent of animutation.

The word was coined by Neil Cicierega, whose web site is an spoonerism of 'Evil Matrix" (http://eviltrailmix.com).

In looking over the page at Wiki, I found that there is this one Canadian actor/comedian, Colin Mochrie, who shows up a lot in these, and in one series, he contends with a plastic Jesus doll for control of the world. These are from the 'albinoblacksheep.com' work of Andrew Kepple.

You might remember the plastic Jesus action figure doll from my suggestions for holiday presents last fall (http://pvnm.com/-l_b-C-s_k). The deluxe model is probaby a better deal, as for two dollars more you get five loaves, two fish, and a jug for water->wine work.

So this was (or looks like) the same Jesus in this video (as the bad guy). The original work's title, "French Erotic Film" is a mondagreen of the Dutch, "Opblaaskrokodil" (a blow-up crocodile).

The second and third follow the action between Colin and Jesus:

The second deserves some special note on its own, as it is partially done in ST3R3-O (cross your eyes 3D--it really works).

If you go to: http://tmst.twu.net/sluggy/tmstsep05.htm you will find a basic example of how ST3R3-O works.

If you want to see a neat video (also, strangely, featuring Colin Mochrie), go to:

(press 'watch this movie')

One other odd little bit (my brother suggested I go to this web site and check out their t-shirts)

Check out the "Comma Sutra" video:
